Tripods
When you want to take a steady shot with no shakes in your footages, you need to buy a Tripod that Keeps your Camera do the Job.
-
Diffusers
As I mentioned earlier about the Lights, we have to Diffuse the Lights to make it soft and clean.
No harsh Light, or Shadows.
Just They Differ in size and shape, depends on the need.
-
Light Stands
Carrying Flashes and Lights, with Diffusers (Or Without), needs something to elevate them from the ground to the suitable high that goes with the shot we want.
-
Drones
If you want to Elevate your images and Videos and be creative with them, try to shoot from above, with new angle, and wider view.
-
Wireless Triggers
When I mentioned the Flashes back then, I told you that they have to be triggered wirelessly,
Well these are the triggers that can be used for this purpose. you can also control the flash power from them, no need to walk between the lights to adjust them. :)
-
Others
There are some other accessories which sometimes you need them as an extra carry-on items to get more creative shots, or you need them sometimes.
Tripods
I have many Tripods, some to take with me anywhere I go.
Some are Compact to be easy to travel with.
And Some are for the Still Videos (Like Conferences).
Diffusers
I use Godox, Phottix, And Valido Diffusers.
Each Diffuser has its own Size, Shape, and the Technique of spreading the light (Which comes from the Flash)
There are also Simple Diffusers that can be positioned somewhere between the light source and the object. they can be even a piece of paper :)
Light Stands
As I mentioned in the top, they can be used to get the flashes and lights carried and elevated from the ground ( specially with mounted diffusers ). just to adjust the light height and angle to direct the light the way we want it to hit :)
no special brand here, just anything to carry the equipment strong enough.
there are also other types of stands like: Boom Stand, C-Stand.
Notice here that the heavier the equipment on the stand, the more weight you have to put on the other side, or any other place on the stand to keep it still and prevent it from falling down. ( You can use Sand Bags here as a professional way to do so )
Drones
Once, I decided to use and fly the drone to make something new to my photography. So I bought DJI Mini 2 as a beginner to practice with.
it is small, light weight, good price, but there are some few stuff that can not be found to keep it fly save. Like Built-in cage for propellers, sensors on top, front , and behind.
I Just upgraded to a better version of it, which is DJI Mini 3 Pro. Same Size, Same Weight, a Little bit higher cost, but with more specs which i couldn’t find in Mini 2.
Wireless Triggers
Wireless triggers simplify and enhance photography. These small devices eliminate the need for cables, allowing photographers to remotely control their cameras and flashes. They provide convenience for capturing fast-paced moments or experimenting with lighting setups. Professionals and hobbyists benefit from the freedom and reliability these triggers offer. They are essential tools for improving photography, with simple setup and consistent results.
I use Godox Triggers for both of Models I have, Nikon and Sony.
As I told you, you can control the Light Power wirelessly without touching your flashes (Specially if they are elevated higher than your Hight.
Other Accessories
Along with what I mentioned up there, I use ND Filter, Color Gels, Probs ( If needed), Tether Cables, HDMI cables, Clips and Grabs, And many other Items I use depends on the shoot i need.
Sometimes I use Teleconverter to Make the Shot Much Closer If I couldn’t Zoom enough with the Lens I have.
I use Gimbal to take a steady Video shot, I have Zhiyun and DJI, and both for Camera and mobile use.
Sometimes I need a Camera cage to put it on, it has extra screw to mount another accessories directly on the camera ( Like Monitor, microphone, or anything else)
You need to get some Extra Batteries when you pack up and go for shooting on location.
And Don’t forget about the Right Bag to put your stuff inside and carry them on with you. :)
I have GoPro Hero 5 and I use it when I need to shoot action stuff for myself, or an A-Roll of what I’m doing :)
